Trouble Writing Your Articles?
Article marketing is a highly effective way to drive traffic to your website. For some people, writing an article can seem like an intimidating task. The good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, you don’t have to be a brilliant author to write an effective article. All you need to do is a little research and deliver your information in the appropriate way.
Quality articles are the key, and they always will be. Before you start distributing what you have written, you’ll want to be sure that you have researched your topic thoroughly. The benefits from delivering quality content to your readers will pretty much outweigh just about everything else. Remember that once you have written and distributed your articles, you’ll be adding more and more incoming links to your site. People will eventually take notice, and be thirsty for more.
Before you begin the actual process of writing your article, take some time and browse through popular article sites, like EzineArticles.com for example. Search through the articles using keywords that pertain to your own website and niche. Take note of which articles are getting the most views. You can do this by simply taking a look at how many page views the article has received. You’ll see this number located towards the bottom of the article. It’ll look like the image that is shown below.
Once you’ve gathered some relevant keywords from some articles with decent page views, you can begin to put those keywords and phrases to use in your own articles. Always remember though, use your own writing style and approach. Never, and I’m serious, NEVER directly copy information. It’s a poor method that many use, and it’s plagiarism. You’re looking to create quality articles in your own words, not someone else’s.
If you take the time to research and think things out a bit, you will produce a pretty good article in the end. Let your ideas flow out naturally, and edit things out later on. Remember not to write your article in a way that it sounds like a blatant sales letter. Yes, you’re selling something, but take one step at a time. The whole reason you are writing your article is to share knowledge and eventually direct the reader to what you yourself are offering.
It’s a good idea to keep your articles around 400 and 600 words. This isn’t something that is really set in stone, but good quality articles will generally contain this amount of words. Some will argue that shorter articles are more effective, but it really depends on what you are trying to convey. A high quality article will be organized and contain a significant amount of information to grab the reader’s attention.
Don’t Forget Your Quality Resource Box
Another highly important step is your resource box at the end of each article. Before you submit your articles to the big directories, be sure your resource box contains a link to your website. Your site should be relevant to your article, as this will help you obtain more leads and build more traffic. Each article directory website will usually have their own rules in place for author resource boxes. So when it comes time to submitting your article, you’ll have to review the rules that are in place.
Once you have your article written you’ll want to thoroughly review it. Have someone else proofread it if necessary. Sometimes someone else will catch something that isn’t quite right, even after you have done your own review. So gather opinions of others if you can.
If you take some of this advice and put it to action, you’ll more than likely have less trouble next time you begin writing your articles.

Using Yahoo! Answers as a Marketing Tool
Did you know that your website can benefit from the use of Yahoo! Answers? If you’re unfamiliar with Yahoo! Answers, the site is best described as a question and answer network utilized by approximately 90 million users worldwide. Now that’s a pretty big group of people you can market too. Best of all, users are using the site to seek out information, information they WANT.
Yahoo! Answers is successful simply because many are tired of the same old traditional way to find an answer to their question. Those who seek out information have a pretty good chance of finding an answer to their question once they put it out there in front of millions.
Potential
Here’s where you come along, as an internet marketer, ready to market your site. The potential of gaining targeted traffic to your website is HUGE. There is absolutely no advertising cost involved. The only cost to you will be a little bit of time and effort. When visiting Yahoo! Answers, browse through the categories that relate to your business or product, look for the questions people are posting. Do you see the potential?
Building Trust
Now don’t go all crazy and start spamming the site. I’ll tell you now, that will harm you way more than it will help you. As with any other social networking community, you’ll want to establish a presence and become a trusted member of the community. Building a little bit of trust among users will go a LONG way.
Getting Started
This doesn’t take much time to get started. Sign up and become a member of Yahoo! Answers. Remember to completely fill out your profile. You’ll want your profile to proudly display who you are and what you’re all about. Once you have that all taken care of you can begin browsing the site. Remember to focus on categories that are relevant to the products or services that you are marketing on your website. In these categories you will want to look for questions that you can answer.
Only focus on questions that you can provide an honest, legitimate, and valuable answer to. This will certainly pay off in the long run. It’s a good idea to search keywords that are relevant to your own website. Doing this will certainly narrow things down a bit.
Once you have found the questions you can answers, occasionally link to your website as a reference. Don’t link the same way every time, because this will easily be noticed as spam. And it’s probably a good idea to link to other relevant sites as references as well.
Network With Others
You’ll want to participate in various ways while utilizing Yahoo! Answers. Don’t just use the site as a place to advertise your website. You’ll want to actively take part and vote for other positive answers too. Connect with others and build relationships. You just may be surprised at how rewarding this becomes in the future.
If you follow these suggestions, it won’t be long until you start seeing a steady increase in traffic to your site. Just remember to participate responsibly. Yahoo! Answers has proven to be a useful tool to many worldwide, so give it a shot!

Video Marketing: Building a Presence
Have you ever really taken a few moments to just sit back and think of how well you could really market your product or service through the use of videos? It’s awesome how the whole video marketing scene has expanded, so why not become part of that whole scene?
YouTube: Get Involved, Build a Presence
First of all, I’m sure you’re quite familiar with YouTube. There are all sorts of places on the web to view and upload videos, but YouTube is pretty much the standard “go to” place for videos if you want to be part of this scene. It’s not too hard to upload videos. The part that becomes a little bit more tricky is when you want to get your video to be seen by others. And remember, your goal here is to spread your videos like wildfire.
Before you start uploading your own videos, you’ll want to create your own profile on YouTube. It’s a good thing if you build up your profile a bit before uploading your own content. This way you can establish your presence on the site, allowing your profile to become more visible to others. Once you create your profile, you’ll be able to enter details about yourself and share a link back to your own website. You’ll be surprised at how much traffic you’ll see once your YouTube profile becomes a bit more established.
Once you have your own YouTube channel created, it’s a good time to create a playlist of videos. Gather videos that you feel are appropriate for your channel, and add them to your playlist. Eventually you’ll be adding your own original videos to your playlist. This will be a fantastic place to gain exposure to your own content, mixed along side other videos. Again, the whole idea here is to build your presence on YouTube, so you can win over some viewers in the long run.
In the coming days I’ll be sharing some additional YouTube video marketing information. In the meantime, if you haven’t done so already, create your YouTube account. No time is better than now to get involved and familiarize yourself with the world of video marketing.

The Birth of New Innovative Marketing Ideas
Rough economic times can bring a whole new birth of new, fresh, and innovative marketing ideas. If one sets their mind to it, the ability to create a breakthrough product is not that far out of reach. If you look through historical times, some of the best ideas came to light during times of struggle. Instead of dwelling on times of despair, use your thoughtful insight on what might rejuvenate others. I’m quite certain that you’ll be surprised at how many ideas you just might come up with.
Research! Network! Implement!
Once you are able to get your mind in the creative thinking process, take notes, research, and find ways to implement your ideas. It’s highly beneficial to network with others during this time. Many people struggle for an endless amount of time thinking on their own, so why not network with others? Networking with other great thinkers can bring great rewards. I’m not saying you will be the next marketing guru of the future, all I’m saying is you can be.
There is always a new product or service that can be marketed, regardless of what the current economic status is. Some things will work, others will not. But those who fail to act upon their ideas are the ones who usually fall behind. Just remember that a lot can be accomplished with only a little bit of smart thinking.
