If you&#8217;re marketing your own website, think about it a bit more before sending your readers off in another direction.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Have you ever really taken a few moments to just sit back and think of how well you could really market your product or service through the use of videos?  It&#8217;s awesome how the whole video marketing scene has expanded, so why not become part of that whole scene?</p>
<p><strong>YouTube: Get Involved, Build a Presence</strong></p>
<p>First of all, I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;re quite familiar with <a title="YouTube" href="http://www.youtube.com" target="_blank"><strong>YouTube</strong></a>.  There are all sorts of places on the web to view and upload videos, but YouTube is pretty much the standard &#8220;go to&#8221; place for videos if you want to be part of this scene.  It&#8217;s not too hard to upload videos.  The part that becomes a little bit more tricky is when you want to get your video to be seen by others.  And remember, your goal here is to spread your videos like wildfire.</p>
<p>Before you start uploading your own videos, you&#8217;ll want to <u>create your own profile</u> on YouTube.  It&#8217;s a good thing if you build up your profile a bit before uploading your own content.  This way you can establish your presence on the site, allowing your profile to become more visible to others.  Once you create your profile, you&#8217;ll be able to enter details about yourself and share a link back to your own website.  You&#8217;ll be surprised at how much traffic you&#8217;ll see once your YouTube profile becomes a bit more established.</p>
<p>Once you have your own YouTube channel created, it&#8217;s a good time to <strong>create a playlist</strong> of videos.  Gather videos that you feel are appropriate for your channel, and add them to your playlist.  Eventually you&#8217;ll be adding your own original videos to your playlist.  This will be a fantastic place to <strong>gain exposure</strong> to your own content, mixed along side other videos.  Again, the whole idea here is to build your presence on YouTube, so you can win over some viewers in the long run.</p>
